Resize: Player and Mob Scaling Controls

A Resize guide. Covers Resize 1.2.3.

Scaling entity dimensions allows server administrators to introduce custom scale mechanics for mini-games, RPG classes, or general amusement. Resize provides direct scale manipulation for both players and surrounding creatures through the /resize command.

Player Scale Adjustments

Regular participants can modify their personal scale using /resize <size>, accepting decimal multipliers such as fractional numbers or values above standard height. When a player needs to inspect their current scale, /resize info displays active multiplier figures. Resetting character proportions back to default scale is handled through /resize reset or the shorthand alias /resize r.

Access to basic player adjustments is open by default:

  • resize.resize defaults to True, allowing players to execute scaling on their own character.
  • resize.info defaults to True, enabling self-inspection of scale data.

Staff Controls and Mob Manipulation

Moderators and administrators can alter the scale of other participants or apply scale modifications to entities. Targeting someone else requires specifying their name after the multiplier via /resize <size> [player], gated by resize.resize.other (default op). Similarly, viewing another user's current scale requires resize.info.other (default op).

Entity transformations use /resize mob to adjust target mob dimensions, controlled by the resize.mob permission (default op). Administrative privileges without size boundaries are governed by resize.admin (default op), while system configuration refreshes are handled using resize.reload (default op). Complete administrative clearance across every feature is assigned through resize.* (default op).
