FakePlayerPlugin: Administration, System Diagnostics, and Authentication
A FakePlayerPlugin guide. Covers FakePlayerPlugin 2.0.5.
Operating simulated players on production Paper or Folia servers demands precise administrative controls, system health checks, and authentication management to preserve server performance.
Administrative Bot Control and Diagnostics
Senior operators oversee simulated player operations using /fpp and its aliases /fakeplayer and /fp. Several core permission nodes grant administrative supervision:
- fpp.admin (or fpp.op): Bestows unrestricted authority across all plugin commands and configurations (default op).
- fpp.spawn: Authorizes administrative bot spawning that ignores personal limits (default op).
- fpp.despawn: Authorizes removing any active bot across the entire server (default op).
- fpp.list: Outputs a comprehensive registry of all currently loaded bots (default op).
- fpp.info: Performs deep database queries showing bot session histories and timestamps (default op).
- fpp.tp: Teleports the administrative user directly to any active bot's position (default op).
When profiling hardware performance, administrators run /fpp perf to monitor tick impact and trigger profiler snapshots, regulated by fpp.perf (default op). System health diagnostics can be queried via /fpp check with fpp.check (default op).
System Configuration and Security Authentication
Configuration adjustments and authentication bridging ensure that bots coexist properly with network infrastructure:
- fpp.reload: Hot-reloads configuration files without restarting server instances (default op).
- fpp.settings: Opens an interactive visual interface to customize bot parameters (default op).
- fpp.save: Forces an immediate disk save for all active bot data (default op).
- fpp.auth: Configures automated authentication handling against installed login plugins (default op).
- fpp.bypass.max: Bypasses the global server-wide bot ceiling (default op).
- fpp.bypass.cooldown: Skips the cooldown delay between spawning actions (default op).
- fpp.notify: Delivers chat notifications when newer plugin versions are released (default op).
- fpp.plugininfo: Displays comprehensive plugin build information on bare command execution (default op).
