ExecutableItems: Visual Item Editor and Attribute Creation

A ExecutableItems guide. Covers ExecutableItems 7.26.8.10.

Launching the Visual Editor Interface

Configuring custom gear with specialized activations and custom behavior is streamlined through interactive menus. Administrators initiate the full interface by entering /ei editor, which displays an organized dashboard for selecting materials, lore lines, and trigger mechanics. Crafting an entirely new item identity directly from active inventory blocks is handled via /ei create followed by an item tag. Modifying existing entries without rebuilding them from scratch relies on /ei edit, allowing staff to update cooldowns, custom models, and ability triggers on the fly.

Assigning permissions for these modification tools protects server item templates from unauthorized tampering. Granting access to the interactive designer is governed by ei.cmd.editor, while updating individual items requires ei.cmd.edit and starting new profiles demands ei.cmd.create.

Displaying Previews and Managing Item Lifecycles

Inspecting item statistics or confirming visual aesthetics can be done safely before deploying gear into player circulation. Operators use /ei show to present an item preview, a capability gated by ei.cmd.show. Controlling onscreen status messages and activation reminders is toggled using /ei actionbar, secured by ei.cmd.actionbar. When obsolete designs must be purged permanently, staff execute /ei delete under ei.cmd.delete. Players who need permission to wield and activate all customized items on the server are granted ei.item.*, ensuring proper trigger execution across all configured weapons and tools.
